P0034 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Bypass Valve Control Circuit Low
Some Turbocharged / Supercharged systems can use a bypass valve (commonly called a dump valve) to relieve turbo boost pressure. The bypass valve will normally be vacuum operated with a solenoid controlling the vacuum to the valve.
Fault Code Explained
This fault code indicates that the circuit voltage is below what is expected or is at zero. This fault is most likely due to a short to earth, no supply voltage or an open circuit
- Check supply Voltage to control solenoid
- Check circuit for short to earth
- Check for open circuit wiring or component
