Our fault code database can provide you with additional information on what the fault code means and possible tests that you can follow to help you diagnose why the fault code has been stored.
EOBD & OBD-II are a set of standards for vehicle On Board Diagnostics. Both provide specifications for a standard connector and also a list of standard fault codes which are 4 digits long preceded by a letter.
- P - Engine and Transmission
- B - Body Systems
- C - Chassis Systems
- U - Network
Vehicle manufacturers can also add their own codes which are relevant to their vehicles.
